Pizza On Bus Event Services & Policy

Welcome to Pizza On Bus, where we bring the experience of wood-fired pizza to your doorstep! Our unique catering service operates out of a 38-foot school bus converted into a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a wood-fired pizza oven. We hold all necessary permits from the Los Angeles County Health Department and the City of Los Angeles, ensuring a safe and delicious culinary experience for your event.

Transportation and Service Provision Policy

Please be advised that while we strive to maintain punctuality, bus service may occasionally be delayed or unavailable due to unforeseen mechanical or technical difficulties. In the event that the bus is unable to attend, we will continue to provide our catering services as scheduled, even if bus is not available.

Services:

  • Event Size: We specialize in catering for events ranging from 20 to 500 people.

  • Location: With full permits, we can park and serve anywhere on the streets of Los Angeles city.

Policies:

  • Arrival and Cooking Time: We arrive 45 minutes before your event to fire up the oven and can cook for up to 8 hours. Dismantling takes approximately 15 minutes.

  • Disposable Essentials: All parties include heavy-duty disposable plates, utensils, and white napkins (additional fee may apply).

  • Deposit and Cancellation:

    • A 35% deposit secures your date.

    • The deposit is non-refundable in the case of cancellation.

    • Rescheduling incurs a $100 fee.

    • Full payment is required for cancellations within 48 hours of the event.

  • Weather Contingency: In the case of extreme weather, we retain the deposit and offer a rescheduling option within one year, applying the deposit to the new date.

  • Travel Fee: Events over 25 miles from Sherman Oaks, California, incur a $5.00 per mile fee. We do not travel beyond 50 miles.

Bus Requirements:

  1. Easy Access: Share your address for confirmation of access.

  2. Parking Space: Ensure a 40ft parking space, equivalent to space for 4 cars.

  3. Clearance: Provide at least 6ft of overhead space and 8ft of space for our operation.

  4. Neighbor Notification: If close to residences, kindly inform neighbors about potential wood fire smell during our operation.

Payment Details:

  • Sales tax is added to all invoices.

  • For events with 30 guests or fewer, there is a flat service fee of $120.

  • For events with more than 30 guests, a service fee ranging from 18% to 25% will be added to the total.

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit reserves the date.

  • Full payment is due on day of the event.

  • Full payment for [event/service] is due in full, as the event date is just one day away.
